MASTER PRATEEK MEHLA CRACKS NDA EXAM : SET TO BECOME THIRD GENERATION GRINDER

       On behalf of Col of the Regt and all rks of the GRENADIERS fraternity, we extend heartfelt congratulations to Master Prateek Mehla, grandon of Ex Sub (Clk) Om Prakash Mehla, son of Sub (Clk) Devendra Singh Mehla of 11 GRENADIERS presently posted with THE GRENADIERS Records who cleared the prestigious National Defence Academy Examination.

       Master Prateek Mehla is studying in 12th class at Adarsh Vidya Mandir, Bhiwani. Prateek Mehla is a brilliant student who has achieved excellence in academic as well as extracurricular activities since his initial schooling days. He has been recommended from SSB, Jalandhar and will be joining the NDA in the month of Dec 2024. It is pertinent to bring out that even his grandfather, Ex Sub (Clk) Om Prakash Mehla was also a Grinder who served with 11 GRENADIERS.

      Comdt, GRENADIERS RC felicitated the indl by presenting them with a spl memento. A spl Pre-NDA Capsule is also being org by the Centre for Master Prateek Mehla to ensure phy & mental preparedness before joining the academy.

      We wish him continued success in all his future endeavors.

GRINDER GET TOGETHER : NOIDA

     The Grinders of Noida area broke the ice with their first get together on 04 May at Arun Vihar Institute sector 29 Noida. For a beginning, there was a healthy presence of 14, including 6 couples and 2 single officers. GRENADIERS GET TOGETHER AT LEH

      Lt Gen Sanjay Mitra, AVSM, GOC 1 Corps visited 14 GRENADIERS on 17 Apr 2024 and interacted with the troops. He also interacted with the Regimental officers present in Leh during a social evening.    The General officer shared his experiences of the area and motivated them all to excel in tasks assigned to them, keeping up with the highest traditions of the Regt.
