TRIBUTE TO LT COL HARI SINGH CHAUHAN (RETD) OF 9 & 4 GRENADIERS

      With deep regret, we inform you about the sad demise of IC-18057X Lt Col Hari Singh Chauhan (Retd) on 17 May 2024 at his native place Faridabad (Har) in 84 years of age.  He was born on 05 Aug 1940 and commissioned into 9 GRENADIERS (MEWAR) on 30 Jun 1963. He also served 4 GRENADIERS and retired from service on 31 Aug 1991.

Lt Gen A Arun, PVSM, YSM, SM, VSM, Col The GRENADIERS and the entire GRENADIERS fraternity convey our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and pray to the Almighty to bestow them strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude.  We also pray to God to grant eternal peace to the departed soul. 

Late Lt Col Hari Singh Chauhan (Retd) is succeeded by his wife – Mrs Vijay Chauhan, Son –Mr Anil and a Daughter-Mrs Kiran Arora. Contact detail of Mrs Vijay Chauhan is as under:-

Prateek Mehla is a brilliant student who has achieved excellence in academic as well as extracurricular activities since his initial schooling days. He has been recommended from SSB, Jalandhar and will be joining the NDA in the month of Dec 2024.
