COR VISITS 38 MED REGT

     It was a matter of great  honour and pride for the GODS’ OWN FAMILY to have conducted
Lt Gen A Arun, PVSM, YSM, SM, VSM, COS, South Western Comd and Col, The GRENADIERS in 38 Medium Regiment.

     The vis of COR is an hallmark  event in the history lane of the unit, as it honours and recognises the shared valour and legacy of both the Regiments. The first bty of 38 Medium Regiment was erstwhile part of State Forces of Bikaner alongwith 13 GRENADIERS(Ganga Risala) as camel carried Artillery and it remained so, post independence too. Subsequently, the Ganga Risala bty formed the nucleus of 38 Medium Regiment, raised on 25 May 1956. During his vis, the COR had an  expressive and heartfelt Baatcheet with tps. He paid tributes to our Forefathers and our Gallant History.

     The COR commended all rks of the Bn for their commitment and tenacity and explained them the importance of giving 100% towards every task assigned. He exhorted all rks to always uphold the dignity and respect of the unit and the uniform.

     The COR also felicitated 25 JCO/ ORs for their exceptional performance with unique COR medallions and presented the CO with a trophy, on behalf of the GRENADIERS Regiment.

Prateek Mehla is a brilliant student who has achieved excellence in academic as well as extracurricular activities since his initial schooling days. He has been recommended from SSB, Jalandhar and will be joining the NDA in the month of Dec 2024.  1. The morning of June 8, 2024, heralded a transformative milestone in the lives of the young Agniveers of Batch 04/24. Following the legacy of three illustrious preceding batches, these recruits graduated from The GRENADIERS Regimental Centre in a spectacular display of precision, discipline, and indomitable spirit during their Passing Out Parade.
