COLONEL THE GRENADIERS VISITS 14 GRENADIERS

    Lt Gen Sanjay Mitra, AVSM, Colonel The GRENADIERS visited 14th Battalion The GRENADIERS (EK AUR CHAR) at Karam Singh Hill (Tsogtsalu Sector) in Eastern Ladakh. CO, 14 GRENADIERS briefed Colonel The GRENADIERS about the operational environment, Battalion's achievements and regimental aspects.

    Colonel The GRENADIERS visited Battalion's Karni Mata Mandir and sought blessings for the entire regiment. A Special Sainik Sammelan was organized, wherein Colonel of the Regiment lauded the Battalion for its superlative performance in maintaining moral ascendancy over the adversary, by its assertive and proactive approach. He was mighty impressed by the 'TEAM 14' during the entire visit and exhorted all ranks including Agniveers to give their best for bringing glory to the Battalion and the Regiment.

    Colonel of the Regiment emphasized upon the significance of individual and collective operational responsibility. He also highlighted the importance of imbibing and integrating the technology in battle drills and procedures.

    To commemorate his landmark visit to the Battalion, Col The GRENADIERS presented a prestigious trophy to the Battalion and exhorted all ranks to continue with the stupendous performance in operational and training domains. Later, he joined the tps for tea and shared his rich experiences, inspiring stories and invaluable advice during informal interaction. The visit concluded with a group photograph, with rugged and treacherous terrain of Eastern Ladakh in background. Before departing, Colonel The GRENADIERS conveyed his Shabash to CO and all ranks for maintaining such high operational, training and administrative standards, despite the treacherous terrain and inclement weather conditions.
