HAV/CLK(SD) AMIT KUMAR OF GRC AWARDED WITH COAS CC


1. On 13 July 2024, No 2703211M Hav/Clk(SD) Amit Kumar, currently posted at the GRENADIERS Regimental Centre, was awarded the prestigious Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Commendation Card for exemplary service and outstanding dedication to duty. 

2. The individual is presently serving in the Training Battalion at GRC, fulfilling the role of  Agniveer documentation clerk since 19 April 2022. He has been instrumental in the seamless documentation of Agniveer recruits using the newly launched ASAAN application, demonstrating deep insight and comprehensive knowledge of documentation procedures. Additionally, he has also willingly taken on numerous extra responsibilities within the centre, executing them with exceptional prowess. 

3. It is this extraordinary sense of dedication, commitment, and sincerity that has earned him this award. We congratulate the individual on behalf of the entire Regiment and wish him many more such accolades in the future. May he continue to keep the Regimental flag flying high.

Prateek Mehla is a brilliant student who has achieved excellence in academic as well as extracurricular activities since his initial schooling days. He has been recommended from SSB, Jalandhar and will be joining the NDA in the month of Dec 2024.  1. The morning of June 8, 2024, heralded a transformative milestone in the lives of the young Agniveers of Batch 04/24. Following the legacy of three illustrious preceding batches, these recruits graduated from The GRENADIERS Regimental Centre in a spectacular display of precision, discipline, and indomitable spirit during their Passing Out Parade.
