TRIBUTE TO COL SHYAM PRADHAN (RETD) OF 11 & 21 GRENADIERS

12 AUG 1957- 05 SEP 2024

1. With deep regret and sorrow, we inform you about the sad demise of IC–35275M Col Shyam Pradhan (Retd) on 05 Sep 2024 at his native place Pune (Mah) in 67 years of age due to heart problem. He was born on 12 Aug 1957 and commissioned into 11 GRENADIERS on 15 Jun 1978; he also served with 21 GRENADIERS. He retired from his service on 31 Aug 2011.

2. Lt Gen Sanjay Mitra, AVSM, Col The GRENADIERS and the entire GRENADIER fraternity convey our heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and pray to the Almighty to bestow them strength and courage to bear this irreparable loss with fortitude. We also pray to God to grant eternal peace to the departed soul.

3. Late Col Shyam Pradhan (Retd) is succeeded by his wife – Mrs Raksha Pradhan and two Sons –Mr Keshav & Mr Dhruv. Address and Contact detail of Mrs Raksha is as under:-

    Very sad & shocking news. Shyam was a very sweet, humble, down to earth & a loving person/friend. In Shyam's passing away I have lost a very good friend. May GOD give his Family the strength to bear this huge loss & may he RIP - OM SHANTI πŸ™πŸ™
